HI! I'M JESS FITZPATRICK!..
...But I go by Jess Fitzy!
I am a 23 year old graduate from the University of Portsmouth in Media and Digital Practice. I was born in London but have lived in West Sussex for the majority of my life. I currently work at the globally known Venture Studios - a photography studio that specialises in family, pet, newborn and maternity photography. In this job, I am not only a photographer, but also deal with editing the images, retouching, admin work, production work, customer service and finance. The studio opened in August 2022, which I was involved with the grand opening and construction of the studio itself.

Editing and digital design is not only my passion in life but my personal hobby and dream career path. I mainly enjoy digitally creating my own posters, print style images and advertisements. I also film and edit videos and do a lot of portrait photography, taken with my Canon DSLR camera. I have around 5 years worth of Adobe creative skills with me and have been in the creative side of education for my whole life. I also dabble in illustration and really enjoy creating physical artwork.

From advertising to double page spreads, I want to bring your vibrant concepts to the screen whilst keeping up to date with the latest technological trends - always concluding with an authentic Jess Fitzy touch.”

My work is typically inspired by early 2000's fashion trends and magazines. I admire a lot of the new generations' business women, such as 'Wildflower Cases' co-founder, Devon Carlson, who also works in fashion. I take a lot of pride and have a lot of confidence in my work, and most importantly I love what I create - I hope you do too! I also love listening to music (cliche) in my spare time - DNB all the way :P !

During Sixth Form I took on the role of school photographer and captured endless school productions and even events such as Prom 2018- my photographs were also featured in the local newspaper. I have also created promotional work for independent musical artist 'Ohhfive' which includes EP work. Other promotional works include a short video for WeAreHundredClub, showcasing their independent clothing brand.
In my spare time, I love to create my own photography content and upload it to my Instagram page @jessfitzydesign - which I have been using for a few years now. I am also a big fan of fashion trends and appreciate the amount of creative thought that goes into fashion campaigns for brands such as Asos, Gucci and Jaded London etc.

I am very up to date on social and digital media trends, which I think is essential in the current climate as it is the way forward. Digital media is important today due to how much it serves us as an ever-evolving society. Working in the creative, digital industry would be an absolute dream of mine and I would love to bring my innovated ideas to the industry table.
